  1. Busted out in 87th and took home $92,000. He flopped a set of 6's and lost to a guy that flopped a set of 7's.
  2. Love the effort on the offensive glass at the 49 second mark. McCormack is 6'10" and 250 pounds. Ausar just outworks him. Then at 2m28s the steal and he just takes off like a rocket for the easy transition basket.
  3. Funny thing. That was a really smart and nice play by Sasser and we aren't even talking about the poor kid.
  4. Even by NBA standards he made that entire sequence look so effortless.
  5. That doesn't seem good.
  6. Zero chance he holds out. Maybe a day, maybe a week. But he is owed something like $50M this season. He is not passing that up. Plus, in the NBA when you hold out the clock on your contract stops. So he has 4 years left, if he sat out a year, he would have 4 years left when he gets back. So Portland is under no pressure here.
  7. Nate Silver is currently 72nd in the world series of poker main event. 300 or so left. He was a good limit player back in the day.
  8. Prime day isn't always a deal.
  9. I have been working on a structure for the Killian Hayes extension. Send him a link to our season ticket packages and tell him that is how he can watch our games live for the 2024-25 season.
  10. Wait until next summer when Cade is eligible for a rookie max extension at $260m. Probably closer to $300M by time the cap goes up in a couple of years.
  11. FWIW, On3 came out with new rankings yesterday and they have AJ Dybantsa over Flagg and Boozer. Dybantsa is a 2026 kid.
  12. I think a lot of people are shocked by the dollar amount and don't realize the cap is $136M now. Not uncommon for a bench player to get the full MLE which is $13M this year. So $15M a year is only 11% of the salary cap this year. That dips down into single digits next year. Decent value for a possible 5th starter or sixth man type guy. Even more so for a center who defensively is somewhat switchable on the perimeter. The Bagley extension generates a lot more anger from me than the Stewart extension.
  13. He actually has more value to a good team. Most playoff teams run small lineups in the playoffs and Stewart is a very nice small ball center.
  14. My respect level for Andre just went up a bit. Shame he didn't realize this 6 or 7 years ago.
  15. Could look like a really good deal if he continues to improve. I don't think its insane to think he improves a bit more this year and could be a $17m-$20m guy next year if he was a FA.
  16. From legend to persona non grata in a flash.
  17. That was bad. To be fair, I'm shocked he is playing a $10K buyin. He plays cash games that total the final table payouts on a weekly basis. Seems like a waste of his time.
  18. If we're a lottery team in 2026 I'm giving up basketball and becoming a cricket fan.
  19. This dude just married her (Ashley Brewer former ESPN talent). Mad respect for Frank The Tank.
  20. I have a relative that is a college football coach. He once told me the coaches always know. That article didn't even mention the worst allegation. They did something called the car wash. Guys would get naked and stand at the entrance to the showers and spin around. Then the underclassman would have to walk through the naked spinning guys to get into the shower.
  21. Even though they failed, that was a very nice move by the Jazz. Utah isn't making the 2nd round this year so that clause was never kicking in for them. But it will for Philly.
