Bojan is a very desirable player and doesn't need a bigger selling point. I imagine Ainge had calls from every contending team in the league when Utah was trying to move him. It is just insanely difficult for a contending team to come up with matching salary.
Most contenders probably wanted him to hit free agency so they could try to snag him with the MLE.
Probably still pretty difficult to trade him due to his contract. Contending teams usually do not have $20M laying around they can part with in a deal.
I can't tell if he is serious or just looking for an excuse to fire some people.

That isn't much money since the cap is projected at $134M next year. 15% of your cap is about right for a 40% 3PT shooter. They still have $40M in space this summer.
But I wouldn't cry if year 2 was a team option.
Two things.
I have test drove a lot of different EV's and the Tesla software is some of the best IMO. So a little Tesla influence on Twitter might not be the worst thing.
Tesla better be getting compensated by Twitter for this or else Musk will be facing a lawsuit from Tesla stock holders. You can't use your engineers from your publicly traded company to work on your private company without compensation.
So in a draft that has the best prospect since LeBron and a #2 who goes #1 nine times out of ten, LA and Brooklyn could finish #1 and #2 in the lottery. And neither team would make those picks due to pick swaps. Man would that be delicious.
