You would be right to be concerned and my money is on him having a short career because of it. But he is so good you just have to accept it. This is why I said the team getting #2 might be the actual winner here. You miss out on a great talent but don't have to deal with his injury concerns. And as a consolation prize you get Scoot Henderson who would easily go #1 most other years.

He was always going #1. But it was still nice to see him do it against some guys that will be in the league in a year or two. I guess dominating Chet in the U19 tournament last year should count for something as well.

Preseason basketball is the most worthless thing in sports. Every year multiple guys across the league put up big numbers and never get off the bench in regular season. Good play, bad play. It means nothing.

Great performances from both guys tonight. Victor ends up with 37 points on 7-11 from three with 5 blocks. Scoot had 28 points with 9 assists and 2 steals. 19 out of 20 times Scoot is the #1 pick and frankly, it wouldn't be close most years. You get a real DRose before the injuries vibe from him. What a great year to tank. You have a shot at two fantastic prospects.

Scoot and Victor both playing well so far tonight. Whatever team drafts #2 is going to get a steal in Scoot. Especially if he fixes his shooting. Best part of the game. Victor has a teammate whose name is, Steeve Ho You Fat so the back of his jersey says, Ho You Fat.

Anyone ever read Flash Boys? Good book about HFT people. They talk about building those fiber lines to the exchanges in New Jersey and eventually just reacting servers in data centers nearby. They would put fake company names on the servers so other banks couldn't see who had the servers when they walked through. It was an interesting read.

Yeah they won't be last assuming they are relatively healthy. But this is not a good team. They traded their second best player and replaced him with an 18 year old kid who won't play meaningful minutes this year. That isn't a knock on Weaver, he made the absolute correct move there. But it will most likely bring some short term pain.
