Two groups I would actively try to keep out of NBA ownership. The Saudi's and restaurant owners.

Pretty sure the natives would choose no power. They are pretty rabid about things there, I found out. The three things I heard them complain the most about. 1. wind farm 2. Something called Roller Rabbit. There is a chain store ban on the island, and somehow this place snuck through recently. They were ordered to close and refuse. People are furious. 3. An influencer is renting out a big house, then charging her fans to come stay in the house. She is contacting local businesses and asking for handouts in exchange for mentions. I laughed when told the influencer story the first time. I figured it was something nobody would care about. A few days later I open the WSJ and they wrote a big story about it. I just tossed the tablet down and went for a walk.

My aunt owns property south of Houghton Lake and was offered $2,600 a year to have a cell tower placed on her property. She declined because where they wanted to place it would have been visible from their house. Sounds like she would have accepted if they placed it on the back half of the property out of view. We rented a house on Nantucket for a few weeks this August. They have a very large wind farm about 15 miles offshore and very visible from the Atlantic side of the island. Kind of shocking to see for a day or two, but after that we barely noticed. We both said it wouldn't stop us from living on that shore.

Why would they pull it? Plenty of OTC stuff that pregnant women should not take that's still on the shelf. Even the odd chance they got something right, there will be no need to pull it.
