    Possibly Manning, but Mize had average stuff at best. Possibly the worst skill set of a #1 overall pick in my lifetime. Average fastball at best who had decent off speed stuff that got college guys out but gets destroyed in mlb.

    10 base runners in 4.1 IP. I know they were pitching around Witt and walked him 3x, but that many runners in that short of span is a recipe for disaster.

    When I was 20 I played in a league where it was the norm to run on and off the field, stay in the batter's box between pitches, and the pitcher would catch the ball from the catcher and be ready for the next pitch without screwing around. We played two 7 inning games with a 15 minute break in-between the games quicker than the typical Yankees-Red Sox game would last.

    He is the one I have the least amount of confidence in. I always think the offense will need to be at the top of their game and hopefully he can get through 5 with only giving 4 runs.

    Anything other than playoffs after a 10 year rebuild is a failure. Winning a playoff series or even a world series depends a lot on luck and fortune. But 162 games is a lot more telling as to how a team is constructed.

    Mathematically and reality are different things. No way any of those teams even come remotely close to the white Sox. No one sane thinks the White Sox are going to make up 19 games on the Marlins.

    This will be a tough match up for Mize, although Boston has lost 6 out of 8. Hopefully he can change speeds effectively.

    Yet had everything to do with your post about Mahomes only being able to do amazing things against 2nd/3rd teamers. The dude HAS DESTROYED everyone he has played against yet somehow your post makes it out like he can only beat up on scrubs. I even used all caps in my post too.

    Verlander isn't doing anything for anyone other than himself. I'm not saying it is wrong, but he isn't a giving caring type of person.

    Tork isn't getting moved in the offseason. What would be the point? Harris and Ilitch are not going to sign someone to big bucks to play first. It's his position next year.

    I would assume that or maybe Malloy. AJ has a huge mancrush on McKinstry. I dont mind him on the roster but he seems to get way too many ABs.
