  1. As we get ready for Day 2, one name to keep an eye on given the FO's love of hit tools and bat-to-ball skills if we can float another prep with the savings on the Max's (Clark and Anderson) would be Cooper Pratt.
  2. Last MiLB games until Friday. Toledo L 12 -2 Meadows 0/3 BB 3K Maton 0/4 K Nevin 1/4 HR Wentz 3IP 2ER 5K Erie PPD WM L 8-7 Campos 1/6 2RBI 2B 2K Jung 0/4 2BB K Allen 0/5 RBI BB 3K Pacheco 0/5 3K Lakeland W 5-2 Gold 1/3 BB Bastidas 1/3 2B BB Santana 1/4 2B 2K Jobe 2.2IP H 2BB 4K
  3. One thing is clear, this FO really does prioritize the hit tool. Now I am hoping we go prep at least one more time in day 2 and get some fresh arms in the system.
  4. I mean I remember watching the screen update waiting for the picks to roll in back when it was just a conference call 😅
  5. 1st. Probably top 50 prospect once he signs the paperwork.
  6. A name to keep in mind is Arjun Nimalla. Rumors are he was asking for some bigger $ so may be someone we are trying to float. He's only 17 and will be 18 all next season as well.
  7. Well I will be interested if he signs below slot. They may be trying to float another prep bat to their comp pick. Even if that is the case would have preferred Langford.
  8. Skenes went #1 we will get either Crews or Langford
  9. Can't wait to debate this next year if Schoop goes on a tear that we should have kept him.
  10. Oh I agree, Jung probably gets moved to Erie and he's 22 which is about 1 year older than the average so it's not like he is a 24 year old beating up on 19 year olds. He was drafted last year and it some times takes a little time to get acclimated to pro ball but I will be interested to see if he continues in WM once he gets moved up. He is a bat first prospect so he needs to keep it up.
  11. Luke Gold hit another HR. Will probably be pushed up after the draft I'm guessing.
  12. Man, we are spending a lot of time discussing the trade value/signability of someone not on the 2023 Tigers.
  13. Yeah, he is definitely doing better as the year is going on with a sub 2.2 ERA for both May and June. I would like to see him go further in games as he has only gone 6IP in 2 starts this year but I am guessing part of that is the pitch count he is on.
