  1. I think we'll be able to tell if the Tigers' plan is to trade Schoop at the deadline. You'll see him in the lineup almost everyday to showcase his talent. Not sure that'll be a good idea for either the Tigers or Schoop. 😉
  2. Gotta question taking Boyd out here. Let the guy work through this. He was pitching well.
  3. I see the Tigers are trying to preserve Cabrera's .300 lifetime batting average tonight........ I see no problem doing this.
  4. Did anyone else notice Schoop's obvious lack of range at second base? Not that fielding those two ground balls in the inning that the Rays scored some runs would've kept the Tigers from losing, but it would've kept the game close for a better chance to come back. If Schoop's bat is going to be average at best, I would think that the Tigers would have a younger and quicker second base candidate. It's time to move on.
  5. and........X-Tiger Randy Grossman just hits a 3-run home run for the Rangers.
  6. Can this game be seen on the Bally sports site? How can I watch it? I would prefer to watch it on TV, but will settle for watching it on my computer if possible. I will be optimistic and say that the Tigers will win somewhere north of 79 games.
  7. For all the hatred thrown at Mario and Rod, having them and Fox Sports Detroit, we didn't know just how good we had it. MLB's TV blackout rules are still a mystery to me. The MLB changes baseball rules to try to make it more fan friendly, and yet they still have their blackout rules. It's just a shame that the real baseball fans are forgotten. It's no wonder the interest in MLB is fading.
  8. Just wondering if the spring training pitching is bad or did the Tigers get a new hitting coach?
  9. I live in NW Ohio and used to listen to the Tigers on WJR......coming in loud & clear every day. I then watched many games on Fox......any time I wanted. This is 2023 and I can't get the Tigers on the radio or TV. It's no wonder the interest in baseball is dying.
  10. We can only hope that it's going to be rows of corn now.....
  11. Verlander is now a teammate of Scherzer. It's truly sad that it's not with the Tigers.
  12. I have nothing against Verlander, but I'd rather resign Scherzer.
  13. Gut check time. Can the Tigers climb out of the cellar? If only Alex Avila was still in Detroit and batting second. This time around he might actually be the best #2 hitter on the team.
