  1. With the money teams are throwing around to the players, MLB needs all the fans it can get. This TV merry-go-round is not helping to keep fans.
  2. I believe that Hinch now has the better ability to match up his rotation against the opponents' possible pitching and the teams they are facing. Of course only with the proper amount of days rest. You have to like the moves the Tigers have made on their pitching staff. Now, if the hitters can actually hit and lower their strikeout rates..............
  3. I just want a simple way to watch the Tigers' games.
  4. Are half of them currently on other teams?
  5. Whatever source is going to carry the Tiger games, it has to be fan friendly. But my guess is that it won't be.
  6. Good grief......I hope that Meadows can hit. I would love to see him squeeze Perez out of the lineup..........
  7. We just need Jones to turn into JD Martinez and he will be fine in a Tiger uniform.
  8. The Tigers' track record is not really very good when it comes to trading away established talent and what they got in return. I would guess that a Skubal trade would also be a major blunder. I would pay him whatever he wants to keep him. They will never have this kind of talent again for a long, long time.
  9. I'm just looking at the possibility of signing a starting pitcher or two that is healthy and will stay healthy for an entire year. Give me a season that 5 starting pitchers can start 156/162 games. The Tigers did that in 2013. Of course, that didn't lead to a world series title. But what a run for those 5 guys.............
  10. I say go after Bregman or Bichette. If one of them signs with the Tigers, they should package Keith and Perez and trade for a #2 starter. I know..........easier said than done.
  11. Ray Oyler is one of my picks. Without him and his weak bat, the Tigers would've never tried the experiment of moving Mickey Stanley from centerfield to shortstop in the 1968 World Series. And as I recall, that worked out pretty well. My other pick is Eddie Brinkman. Steady Eddie was a great defensive shortstop for many years.
  12. I'll predict he is not even considering Detroit as a destination.
  13. Anyone interested in kicking the tires on Munetaka Murakami?
  14. Why? Can Boyd hit?
  15. Now......get swept by Toronto......
  16. Ok...everyone is so tired they won't remember I posted this....
  17. All right....this is it. The Tigers will win it here in the 15th.
  18. What a throw for Dingler!!
  19. I'm just about ready to make my morning coffee.
  20. What an October baseball game this has been.......win or lose.
  21. And he's been what 4 for his last 52 or so?
  22. This game has been bazardo. The home plate umpire wants to go home.
  23. Oh my......we play on!
