  1. The amount of deference to the percieved political aims of the GOP establishment on how they approach a post-Roe world, given how the past few years have gone, seems misguided to say the least. Particularly when one lives in a red state and has seen the legislation that has been pushed and enacted on this issue, it seems naive to trust the better judgment of national Republicans. Not to mention, just a few years ago, Roe being overturned seemed far fetched, now it is reality... why should anyone trust McConnell here?
  2. This is the same Republican Party who thought they could ride the tiger with Donald Trump and failed miserably. Consider me skeptical
  3. They would only have a small % chance at the top draft pick, so they should win as many games as possible. Not to mention that for all the overblown talk of AJ bolting, tanking with this roster would be the kinda thing that would have any manager thinking about the door
  4. Unranked by MLB Pipeline and Fangraphs for the Tigers top prospects. I imagine the projectors can miss guys when they have to do 30 orgs, although may they are aware and see him as an org type?
  5. The speed with which Tork/Greene moved (along with the injury) really adjusted perceptions to make it seem like Dingler has moved slower than he has through the system that he actually has. If he continues to hit as he has this past weekend, one imagines he could make an appearance in AAA before hitting a season's worth of AA plate appearances
  6. The question of whether the bullpen is beginning to regress is a good one, but within the context of this particular game, I'm not sure even the Dodgers or Yankees could reasonably expect to win a game with 23 LOB.
  7. From your lips to God's ears. But man, it's frustrating in the moment
  8. I will say kudos to ERod today... he's gotten a lot of crap, way more than he's deserved. Nice to see him flash some dominance.
  9. One difference between this year and last is that I sort of pitied the team last year... they got off to a horrendous start but, at least with the players on O and bullpen, you could understand it. I dont understand it with this group... the starters (despite many injuries) and bullpen continue to give the offense runway, and the offense just can't get it done. It's enraging.
  10. The bullpen has overperformed, sure, but FFS, they have left 23 on base today. You gotta get guys in when you get leadoff doubles. Happened multiple times today and didn't happen.
  11. Tigers have left way too many guys on the basepaths today. You can't expect to score 2 runs a game and win
  12. Lol, this isn't on the pitching.
  13. Totally believable. Today feels worse than the other ones. Tons of opportunies with no outs
  14. The linescore on this game is so indicative of the struggles of this team
  15. Tork got robbed there... damn
  16. Badly need to get this one in
  17. Round of applause for ERod... he was great today!
  18. Aside from ERod, nobody's stock has risen more today for the Tigers than D.Hill
  19. He kinda flashed this sort of stuff last weekend, but it got lost in the beginning and ends of the start. And bad defense
  20. Gotta get these runs home... it will loom large if they lose
  21. Don't want to jinx it... but ERod is looking like the guy they signed today so far
  22. There ya go, gotta score more runs against these guys
  23. Schoop may have just had the hardest hit ball by the Tigers today... but right atta dude
