  1. I went a few times back in 2010 when I was out there for five months and couldn't believe how hard it was getting into and out of that place. It's a fantastic ballpark, maybe my favorite tbh, but I just remember that you have to really put in effort to get to that place
  2. Wonder what (if any) impacts that has on roster decisions between now and Tuesday
  3. Actually checked on this, but the 100-win Tampa Bay Rays had a seven game losing streak at one point last year (6/15 thru 6/22). Of course teams have to offset it with big win streaks, but it can happen to the top teams as well.
  4. Who knows, maybe they'll be around .500 when he gets back
  5. And Jeimer hit one of them. If they can get even one of those guys off the schneid, they are gonna win more games
  6. Man, it takes WORK to walk Javy Baez
  7. Meanwhile, Kody Clemens and Zack Short appear to be begging to be called up... at least based on their play.
  8. The failure of this road trip was kinda sealed in Minneapolis. They had to walk away from there with at least a couple of wins. Certainly the first game considering they had the lead. And they didn't Winning more than one game against the best team in baseball on the road wasn't gonna happen. As well as they did play last night, you cannot depend on that happening every time you face a CY candidate. Hopefully they go and take it out on the Bucs at home.
  9. Did not have Singuel being the one to break the homer drought lol!
  10. It's also a sport where the even the best teams still lose around 33% of the time. Just a much different animal than the NFL.
  11. Thinking back to last year, I believe that Cincy, MKE, San Diego, NYY, Atlanta all had some longer losing streaks at points, and they were all in contention at the end or made it. May be less true of the elite teams tho... I doubt LA or SF suffered any of those.
  12. I stand by what I said. Also failed by crappy D today
  13. ERod really settling in. It would be nice to him sustain this from first pitch
  14. I'm sure Kevin will be criticizing her shortly because reasons....
  15. I've been watching more non-Tiger games this year and it's been shocking (appalling) how poor the Bally sports interface and images are compared to other presenters. All of them, RootSports/ATT Sportsnet, NBCSN, SNLA, SNY, even MASN, all of them seem to have better production quality than a Bally broadcast. The scorebug is a big part of that, although maybe not all of it.
  16. I still can't believe Brieske pulled that off in his second start against that lineup in that environment. He's talented, and while he had some luck in that outing and didn't generate a lot of swing and miss, that's still an incredibly tall task for a rookie to take on and he was never phased. He still needs work, but in terms of the mental side of the game, he seems like the real deal.
  17. Tork has cooled off some, but I almost feel Cabrera would be best back at 5th in the lineup, behind Tork. I have to eat crow on Barnhart tho... he's looked a lot better over the past week or so of games. The throws will come I'm sure.
  18. Just what everyone predicted haha
  19. Soto appears to prefer pitching in Los Angeles over Minneapolis in April lol
  20. They just waited for it turn May 🙂
  21. Its the right thing to do, he needs the work
  22. Does D Hill have a death wish or something?
  23. This is kinda what I was looking for out of this team... Best offensive game in a while, and not all singles
