Baltimore has some very good LH hitters. And LF is harder to hit home runs. Hinch probably saved Holton yesterday so he could start today. And keep throwing LH pitchers to nullify those LH bats?
I did some mathing. After Friday's game, the Tigers are 25-11 since August 11th. (According to the Free Press.) I think that works out to a .694 winning %. It also works out to around 112/113 wins in a 162 game schedule.
If the Tigers beat Baltimore tomorrow, I think we'll have the tie breaker against them. If we lose, it goes to the 2nd tie breaker and I have no idea who has that.
