Most of them wouldn't even remember 2012, 12 years ago. 18 year old seniors would only have been 6 years old. This is the first memory many kids have of a divisional race. And wait until next season...a few additions and we're gonna be good!

Putting the cart before the horse....the Tigers finish the season at home against the WSox. The Twins finish at home...against Baltimore. Those games might matter....I hope.

Baseball reference has Parker Meadows at 1.4 WAR for the season. It seems like it should be higher but I don't know much about stats. Is 1.4 good?

It has nothing to do with you. It's about the Tigers catching the Twins. With 2 days off left in the season, Hinch could reset the staff to give Skubal that extra start. The Baltimore games are easily the toughest remaining games. Olson coming back means less BP days...using Skubal against them is just an idea...

The standings lie. We're actually 4 games behind the Twins because of the tiebreaker. With 17 games to go. We <could> catch them, I mean, how many games were we out 17 games ago? Around August 23rd?

Must win. If we win, does anyone think it may be a good idea to give Skubal an extra day of rest and use him against Baltimore? Those 3 games are going to be a....challenge.

If it's a major leaguer, he would have to be team controlled for several years. Otherwise, just keep Skubal.
