    A delay after it starts could ruin a Skubal start. Save Tarik for tomorrow and use a bullpen day. And if it's postponed, we could have a Skubal-Skenes match up in one of the games of a DH. That would be a hoot! 😆

    Hinch showing a lot of trust in Chase Lee. Using him in the 7th inning of a 1 run game. That 2.01 ERA is pretty impressive. He's definitely gonna stick around all summer.

    The Pirates have problems scoring runs. But we scored 7 runs off of their decent pitching staff.

    What do the Tigers have, 2 streaks of 3 losses all season? The opening Dodger disaster and then the Cleveland series? And after Skubal pitched his masterpiece, Cleveland fell off a cliff.

    My dad grew up near Briggs Stadium and called it that until the day he passed in 2005. I heard the Roku stranger call Conerica, Tiger Stadium. Dan didn't correct him.

    I watched the Yankees-Angels game last night. An extra inning game that was scoreless after 9 innings. The announcer said the Yankees were among the few teams, including the Tigers, that haven't lost 4 games in a row. The Yankees lost so it's one less team on that list. 😆

    He hasn't pitched since 6-10? He should be available tonight...after we have a huge lead. 😆

    So give Skubal an extra day of rest and hope the rain holds off tomorrow night. The weather app says only a 77% chance of rain. That's a 23% chance of no rain...😅

    The Tigers claim reliever Carlos Hernandez off the waiver wire, released by Philadelphia. He's out of options so he's joining the big league roster. Vest to the IL? Or Tyler Owens demoted?

    Really?? That interesting, i saw Greene struggles against them and Carpenter doesn't play. It must be the improvement of Tork and Javy.

    The Dodgers are so hard up for pitching, they didn't even send him out for a rehab start. Pretty arrogant (and ignorant.) But yeah, anything that guy does no longer surprises me. He's a.....freak. 😆

    He prolly won't go more than 30 pitches or so. 2 innings max. He should be off the mound by 10:45 EST.
