Manning just showed highly inaccurate throws. And it didn't look like he could read the OSU defense, coached by Matt Patricia. One ESPN talking head made a good point, Manning looked better running a hurry up offense but Texas didn't stick with it. I like good close games too but I would much prefer watching Ohio State lose. Their fans can/will be insufferable.

Has Harris signed any bullpen arms for more than one year? He gave Maeda 2 years but that was with the idea to be a SP. He just stunk so bad he ended up as a mop up BP pitcher.

We beat the A's 2 out of 3 in Detroit in late June. They're just really hot now, one of the best MLB records since the ASB.

Looking at it as a KC fan, they must be really mad. They score 3 first inning runs and then nothing...and swinging 3-0 in the 9th inning, down 2 runs? That's just stupid baseball.

Last Sunday? We beat them Friday and Saturday. But with Paddack pitching, well, he has over a 4.50 career ERA, in 7 years. It's not a small sample, he is what he will be and always has been. A 5th starter for a team that finishes 20 games out of first. Like Minnesota?

I didn't even notice that they were unearned. I guess that's good, but I would rather they won. When Skubal loses a game, our odds of a losing streak skyrocket.

No big name trades or big money free agents. The Lions really have the foundation players we can build around. I think Jaymo will get big money somewhere else if he has a big season. But...still TBD.

For all we know, Harris may have his hands tied by his bosses. I imagine spending a lot of money on salaries has to be approved by whoever is signing the checks. But like I said, it's a business. If he makes the organization a lot of money, he's doing a good job. Winning is sweet but being a contender and making the playoffs is considered successful. Off days stink, especially after losing 4 in a row, which makes it worse. We need to win the KC series this weekend.
