Those late game melt downs are the worst. I'm glad I had to be awake early, I didn't even turn this game on. Watch for 8 2/3 innings just to watch our BP blow it, I woulda tossed and turned all night.

Agreed. Who wants to be a backup when quality starters are making...50 million $$ a season? Lol...Morrall prolly made 10 grand a year in '72. 😅

Bob Griese missed many games in 1972 for the undefeated Miami Dolphins. Yes, it was a lifetime ago but it is possible to win with a backup. Sudfeld? Not the way he played yesterday but the lack of talent around has to be taken into account. We just don't know what he could bring to the table if he played with the 1st team offense. And to be honest, I don't want to see it.

Very true. Talented QBs don't want to stay backups. They move on to teams to be starters.

Preseason makes it really hard to judge players abilities. Playing with 2nd and 3rd stringers and going up against 2nd and 3rd stringers. Put your top players out there with him and I'm sure he would appear to be better. But the way it looks, a Goff injury could derail the entire season. Make Hooker the #2 QB.

Sudfeld couldn't throw, no time or pocket presence. Just use film to judge Fountain, from what I read, they wanted to see him run routes properly.

I would like to see Hooker play with the #2s. Put some quality players around him and he may be decent.

Golden Tate is a Lion at heart. He keeps saying "we" and "we're". Guy looks like he could still play....I used to love watching him, the guy was SO elusive!

I've been re-watching the whole season before YouTube TV deletes them off of my dvr. I love the unlimited dvr space but deleting stuff after 8 or 9 months stinks.
