I would say that KC is our biggest rival for the division. Cleveland is good but KC scares me more. Bobby Witt Jr. is the real deal.

I agree. Unless the Lions get an offer they just can't refuse. And I can't see a team wanting to have to deal with his upcoming contract demands. But, IMO, if the Lions have to let one guy go between him, Hutch, Branch, Kirby or LaPorta, it would be him. LaPorta's contract should be affordable so he'll stick around. And defense players are NOT expendable.

I saw in the paper that Montero's last minor league start was a dominant performance. Hinch even mentioned using him with a 6 man rotation. No pressure, Keider, just shut them out please. 😁

Good move. The Tigers open a 4 game series Thursday against a good KC team. They'll be hard to beat. Olson, Jobe, Mize and Skubal, I think.
