Even if you find a pitcher who's the best in history and goes 30-0, there's still 132 other games to play. So a team full of scrubs and minor leaguers who play really cheap isn't going to be better because a pitcher is sitting in the BP for 4 games out of every 5. I would take a position player, a good position player, any day. What do starters average anyway, a bit over 6 ip every 5 games?
