  1. Trump tells his military to prepare his first concentration camp at Gitmo. And so it begins....
  2. Yeah, I'm not a fan either. Maybe it's a slump but he just doesn't seem to have shown much. But Kasper and some of these other kids? It looks like Yzerman's draft picks may have finally started showing up.
  3. Actually, it did. He was fired after our 1-6 start in '22. The team took off after that. What are they since...34-11?
  4. These may be career highs for these players but they ranked near the bottom in NFL rankings. But yeah, the talent wasn't there.
  5. Yeah. Pleasant was only a "Pass game coordinator/defensive backs coach." But he was also fired in '22.
  6. Agreed. But it won't be before midterms. Trump is doing all he can to stir up outrage now, hoping it will turn to violence. The Bunker Beech will immediately declare martial law and suspend the constitution. Down with democracy.
  7. Holmes trading draft picks...🤣🤣🥰 1st round draft picks....🤣🤣🤣
  8. Goff didn't get blamed when Pleasant didn't work out.
  9. My sister lived on Abington Street back in the day. Even back then, most homes had barred security windows and doors. That's usually a bad sign. Granted, I haven't been back in that area in 40 years but...no thanks. And BTW...I found a new realtor...😆
  10. Don't tell The Donald about this. He may use this idea in his quest to Make America Racist Again; https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1917_Bath_riots
  11. I like this part of that article; "Trump's initial net approval rating of +7 percentage points is lower than that of any newly elected president since World War II, with one exception: Trump himself during his first term."
  12. A realtor i was working with tried to show me houses near Warren and Southfield. My sister lived in that area back in the 80's. I told her no way, she insisted it was a "nice area." No, it isn't.
  13. Worse, he said he would end it as president elect...one phone call. Probably to his handlers in Russia.
  14. LA looked like they had tired legs. A lot of unforced errors. Wings took advantage. I'm glad Seider's mistake ending up being meaningless. And I think Kasper may be here to stay?
  15. Kasper goal....these kids are really bringing the energy. Young legs...
  16. Give the Wings a 5 on 3 power play and just give us the goal....lol
  17. Yeah, he put it into his own net. Tried to sweep in behind the net and....Oops.
  18. We had our chance and sat on our hands. Harris was busy working on a trade for a player who doesn't wanna come here and has a no trade clause? First question, will he waive it? No? OK, have a nice day.
  19. Even if you find a pitcher who's the best in history and goes 30-0, there's still 132 other games to play. So a team full of scrubs and minor leaguers who play really cheap isn't going to be better because a pitcher is sitting in the BP for 4 games out of every 5. I would take a position player, a good position player, any day. What do starters average anyway, a bit over 6 ip every 5 games?
  20. Because he said the Cubs would be the only team he would go to. Harris should only have spend 5 minutes after hearing that. Incompetent.
  21. Correct. A player who can contribute for 162 possible games over a 6 inning pitcher who pitches about 30 games a season.
  22. Agreed. Tigers had their chance but decided Chris needed the money stashed away instead of putting a winning team together. Maybe we'll get lucky and contend in spite of him. Like we did last season, that was fun.
  23. Jeezzz...it's not like signing him would hurt this team. Sign him or let a different team sign him. Then stash the money away. It's not like we'll spend it on a different player...Harris hasn't signed, or been allowed to sign, any position player to long term contract. I don't know why fans act like it's their money, ticket prices won't be cheaper if we cut payroll. I'm old enough to remember when fans couldn't wait until Miggys contract came off the books so we could sign better players. Fans are still waiting. Here comes Bregman, almost a perfect fit for Detroit. A position of need, a proven winner as well as a history with our manager. If the Tigers were serious, we would have signed him a long time ago. But sure, let's wait until Houston dumps salaries and re-signs him. We can all say how Harris was busy working on a trade for players with no trade clauses in their contract.
