  1. Article in the Free Press this morning showed how bad the Tigers SS are doing this season offensively. The absolutely worst in history and it's not even close.
  2. Tarik Skubal tried to help the Tigers out by striking out the Braves hitter. The Braves hitter hit a 2 run homer.
  3. The excuses the announcers make are amazing. Jason said Riley tried to help the Tigers out by driving in a couple of runs last time up by swinging at a couple of pitches out of the strike zone. Yeah, he struck out. 🤔🤔
  4. If you consider the Tigers a major league roster, true. But look at some of our other players and ask how many would be a a decent teams roster. Not. Too. Many.
  5. They're wasting good pitching.
  6. I was worried they would brink Tork back up too soon. They need a (good) RH bat.
  7. So if Baddoo goes down for Parker, who will we call up for Malloy?
  8. Oh...you were trolling me for harping on Malloy? 🤣🤣
  9. Call up Parker, put him in CF and get Riley back to LF. At least Parker has speed and defense.
  10. I know he's young and inexperienced but Malloy looks worse than Parker ever did.
  11. We beat up on the Houston youngster.
  12. Bet Riley doesn't score.
  13. He looks 15 years old. I wonder if he only shaves once every 2 weeks?
  14. Malloy is totally overmatched at the plate. And he can't play the field. Parker just needs to hit .220 at this level...
  15. Someday Casey will recover from his 2 surgeries and year and a half off. I hope. But if he's arbitration eligible? Bye-bye.
  16. It's hard to win when your pitcher is throwing batting practice.
  17. Going after his first ML win? Hmmmm...
  18. I was being more critical of their passive play calling. McVay is supposed to be an offensive genius and he has an experienced offense. (And QB). Horrible play calling and players not executing at crunch time, classic choke job. And thank goodness for that....
  19. 1st and goal at the Lions 6 yard line, 1st and 10 at the Lions 11 yard line and 1st and 10 at the Lions 13 yard line. So yeah, none were very short-to-go but they had 12 chances to get a TD. Sure, credit to the Lions D but that falls more on the Rams coaches choking away golden opportunities to win the game. With a veteran QB, they should have had a better outcome. Classic choke job. 😆
  20. Every time I rewatch the Rams/Lions playoff game, the thing the sticks out to me is how conservative the Rams were. 3 times in the red zone they settled for field goals. With a veteran QB in Stafford, the inability of turning one of those field goals into a TD was the difference in the game. Playing scared in the NFL rarely works.
  21. Many of these young players lost a year of development during Covid. Parker us still very young and he shows promise. His defense and speed doesn't go into slumps. He just needs to hit to make him a valuable piece. Bring him back and stick him in center.
  22. Building a team strictly thru the draft takes several years. Has he made any trades to speed up our rebuild? The problem with trading our young players for proven stars is that the proven stars are much more expensive. And for all we know, Harris isn't allowed to increase the payroll. We can't assume he can just by players who were signed a few years ago. So it's either young and inexperienced players or waiver wire pickups. Or even free agent utility players who are affordable and can play several positions. He built this roster with the idea that Meadows would hit and be a leadoff hitter with Tork hitting 30 to 40 home runs. That idea blew up in our face.
  23. We need Meadows right now. Putting a DH in LF isn't ideal. And the fact that he can't hit. We used Baddoo as a defensive replacement!! And he struggles at the plate too. Send Malloy and Baddoo back down and bring Meadows back up. I don't care who else they bring up, as long as the can hit a little bit better than Baddoo and Malloy.
