I worry about KC more than I do Cleveland. The Twins or WSox? Not so much. But it looks like the Tigers have a very good pitching staff. The experience the BP guys got last year is a real advantage. But 2 regulars missing to start the season and 3 or 4 players playing out of position (or Keith, learning a new position) is a bit scary.

This Tiger team would be that much better with an effective Tork. We need his RH bat hitting for power. But, the biggest problem, IMO, is the loss of Meadows. The Tigers were 54-28 with him in the line-up in 2024. Replacing his defense isn't possible.

Trump made a campaign promise, several times, to stop the Russian invasion of Ukraine with one phone call before even taking office. I just heard an interview where he denies saying that and if he DID say it, he was being sarcastic. Just more Trump lies, nothing new.

Yup...Greene won't be playing CF. Even though he's our best option and we have several players who can fill in at LF. Okie-dokie.

Back in those days, 16 out of 21 teams made the playoffs. Missing them so many times wasn't easy to do. Our current playoff drought may be longer now but those were some really dark hockey years.

Exactly. The egg price increase has a valid reason, the bird flu. It's the same reason normal people blew off the MAGA outrage at Joe Biden's economy...the "look at the price of eggs" argument never made much sense. And if Trump's administration is cutting medical research, the next pandemic could be right around the corner. Totally unchecked.

Harris may have found a very good arm in Hanifee. His numbers from last season kinda surprised me and he's picking right back up this spring. That pitching chaos really got some of these guys valuable experience.

Same with me. I grew up watching the Wings miss the playoffs every year. Most of the games I followed on the radio. Every game, Sid Abel would talk about "golden opportunities." Lol

I didn't know that. 20 weeks is a pretty long time if a farm has to kill off their flock. It seems like the bigger farms would have to invest quite a bit. And if the flu is still around, I wonder it they would consider replacing them or not.
