Same as it has been for close to a month now. Not making moves at the deadline helped ruin this season. Keeping the best overall record should have been the goal, not backing into the last playoff spot.

And this game isn't on ESPN? I thought they had exclusive rights. The At Bat app is showing the TV game is on ABC.

It's why winning the division was so important. A few more wins during the season may have even gotten us a bye in this round.

And considering Carpenter's, Greene's and Torkelson's age, they are still relatively young. A couple more years to their prime. If Greene adjusts his swing, will fans be OK with less power? 20 to 25 home runs but less strikeouts?

Any competent hitting coach could see he's swinging from the ankles and he can't shorten his swing when he gets to 2 strikes. Sometimes a player just needs to put the ball in play to put pressure on the defense to make plays. Greenes attitude of just shrugging off 200+ strikeouts rubs many fans the wrong way. Maybe even Hinch has seen enough?

Tuesday; Gaddis 19 pitches. Smith 19 pitches. Wednesday; Gaddis 20 pitches. Smith 31 pitches. I would be a bit surprised if either are used tomorrow.

I agree about Harris. His trades, or lack of trades, is very underwhelming. Very. And signing free agents who are coming off of injuries or on prove it contracts have mostly been a total waste of precious resources. Most Tiger fans would rather see quality over quantity. But that just may be unfair to Harris. We just don't know if he's allowed to spend the big, big dollars it would take to bring in quality players. We just...don't know.

My theory is that Greene and the coaches know he has to rework his swing. But doing it during the season may not be possible. Maybe he'll rework it during the off season? His huge amount of strikeouts may be the only thing stopping him from becoming a huge star.

He didn't do it all season. Anything out of the norm is shocking. TBH, there were numerous times during the season I was hoping he would hit for him. Mostly when other managers brought in LH pitchers to face him.

I actually kinda agree with him, it was a shock seeing Greene hit for. If he strikes out, so be it. We wouldn't be in the playoffs without him.

He has all season to the tune of 201 strikeouts. He finally got as tired of seeing them as fans did.
