He has some power and plays pretty good defense but doesn't have a strong or accurate arm. A .270 hitter that just strikes out way, way too much. Strikeouts are only really bad with guys in scoring position, otherwise they're just another out. And I would rather have a player K and use 6 or 7 pitches than pop out on the 1st pitch, or hit a ground ball.
I'm sure there are stats showing Riley as a superstar, it's why I know my opinion is unpopular.
