Well, against the WSox, I'm not too worried about. Make sure Olson's finger is better. It looks like we'll be needing these 5 guys to stay healthy for a couple of months. I did read an article that questioned if the pitch clock was causing injuries. Fatigue sets in during extended innings, which could possibly lead to injuries. Or so "they" think.

The Tigers had a much better regular season record but yeah, the Cardinals won the championship. The way I see it, the best team in 2025 is TBD. The Dodger organization is called the defending champions, no matter if all their players have been replaced or not. So we can say the Tigers have the best record in MLB (so far) but they really can't be called the best team. At least, not yet...😅😅

It doesn't matter if any of us agree with it or not, the Yankees are the defending AL Champions. It kinda like talking heads saying the Tigers are the best team in MLB because we have the most wins. It's just an incorrect use of words, there's no way we're the best team until we hold the championship trophy.

The Yankees are the defending American League Champions. Until some other team wins the AL, they are the best. Regular season records are meaningless.

I just see them as pests. My neighbor feeds our local squirrels and they come right up to my door when I open it. I was the Tyler Holton of my 'hood the first few times. But I got used to them. And the dang things dig up my lawn, burying their nuts....But at least my cat enjoys their visits;
