I'm not sure how accurate it is; If the Guardians slide past the Tigers, it'll complete their rally from 151⁄ 2 games back in the Central (on July 8, when the Tigers set their high-water mark of 14 games ahead of the Royals and Twins). It would become the largest deficit ever overcome for a division or league crown, just ahead of the 1914 Braves, who went from 15 back (and last place in the NL) of the New York Giants on July 4 to 101⁄ 2 up on the second-place Giants by season's end.

I saw a meme on X the other day that showed how much gun violence was done by right-wing folks compared to the left. It was very eye opening, most of the more publicized ones were either far right-wing or brain washed MAGA folks.

From what I've read, Hep B is transmitted not just from the mother to the baby but is extremely contagious from anyone who has it to an unprotected infant. Somebody speaking about this should really know the actual facts and not spread misinformation or outright lies and false facts. This idiot, and people in his administration, are going to be killing thousands of innocent people. My uneducated advice for moms and dads is to take expert advice from medical professionals.

I really try to stay positive about the Lions. Too much negativity ruins the game for me. Stress the positive and try to look at the bright side of things. The Ravens take a 7 point lead in the 2nd half? Great, now it's our turn with the ball.

Going into this week, I saw the possibility of the Lions being 2 games behind the Packers. A loss to Baltimore with the Packers beating Cleveland. But the exact opposite happened. I'm as happy as a pig in....well, very happy. 😆

Missed calls have been happening, in all of sports, for years. Every sport. The thing that really, really bothers me is the possibility of cheating being done because of the "legal" gambling. Every time a call is missed, or a questionable call is made, it makes me wonder, in the back of my mind, whether there's cheating going on.

I don't complain about calls that are so blatant. And if you talk to a Baltimore fan, they'll say the refs missed calls on the Lions, too.

The Lions run offense was really impressive. Aikman was right, Morton stuck with it and it paid off.
