    That was/is my guess too. With W. Perez to stay in Toledo. Hinch loves moving guys around and Vierling really adds to his moves. Javy to 3rd base and at SS with tough lefties on the mound.

    Hinch loves to mix and match. Vierling can play 3rd and RF. Javy can play CF until Meadows comes back and then play 3rd base or SS to rest Sweeney. All these players should get plenty of time, it's Baddoo and Malloy that'll end up back in Toledo. At least, that's my guess.

    My son goes to most of the Cubs games. His wife works for them and they live within walking distance. But his first love is still the Tigers and the other Detroit teams.

    A perfect and concise statement. But to expand on it? I mentally resigned myself to the Tigers losing this game. As a BP day and against a very good home team, I didn't see how we could win. So a victory here is pure joy, as it was unexpected.
