  1. I would give this a like but I'm saving them for the Lions victory. 😅😅
  2. So cool...fans in the opposing stadium can only help!
  3. Kansas City beating Baltimore gives me hope the Lions can beat SF. Finish the season the way it started, with a Lions win over KC!!
  4. My internet went out 1/2 before last week's game. I stream so I was totally freaking out. It rebooted right away but I had my radio out, just in case. 🙄🙄
  5. This could turn out to be a huge, huge bargain for the Tigers. Especially the way players contracts are going up.
  6. Late game has my nerves shot. I'm either gonna sleep well tonight or not at all.
  7. And we always hear..."just get in the playoffs and anything can happen." A win would probably be the biggest Lions upset victory of my lifetime. The Lions are hot, have a ton of confidence and will have thousands of fans cheering them on. Wish I were there...
  8. How many "fans" would break an ankle jumping off the bandwagon? 😁
  9. I want the Lions to win, but win or lose, they've had a great season. I hope it continues for 2 more weeks. 😀
  10. SF has been in 4 out of the last 5 NFC Championship games.
  11. I was cussing out Bally Sports and then I realized the game starts at 8 PM. Right?
  12. https://x.com/GrGriffinsNest/status/1751050705647890616?s=09
  13. Anyway, they were chanting Jared Goff tonight in Grand Rapids. It won't post...
  14. Yeah, teams employ a whole crew of attorneys and accountants that are experts in manipulating the salary cap. I just really don't want to neglect several other positions because we have to pay one position. It's kinda scary...
  15. Didn't they use a 3rd round pick on him? Either they wasted that pick on a player who never plays for them or their original plan was to have him play QB after Goff's contract expired. But then the Lions started winning and the fans started chanting his name anywhere they gathered. The Lions plans may have changed with their 2023/4 success.
  16. That would make it more bearable. I remember when Stafford got extended at 25 million a year. Bradshaw was hating on him for wearing his hat backward while sitting on the bench. Sour grapes from an old man who never made life altering money while leading a team to multiple championships, at least, IMO.
  17. I don't really know much about the salary cap but 50 million $$ has to affect a team's ability to sign other quality players. A backup making that much could probably cripple a team if it isn't structured properly. But that's the risk a team needs to take and I'm all for extending him. It's just that kind of money blows my mind...
  18. Especially with fans chanting his name....at a hockey game!!! 😆😆
  19. All need help around them but you're willing to cut corners elsewhere? Like...receiver, offensive line and on defense? The reason Goff is so good is having very good teammates around him. Take them away and he wouldn't be an above average QB. Sign everyone...lol
  20. But it's also the number of years. It probably would be cheaper to extend him this season than it would be after his contract runs out next year. So say it's 50 million $$ a year? 200 million $$ for 4 years? That just sounds so crazy high. 250 million $$ for 5 years? Gulp...that money is pretty insane...
