  1. The coaches should know this. So why defer the opening kick and let them keep the ball for what? 7 minutes? Intelligent coaching.
  2. Terrible defensive teams should NEVER defer the opening kick. Big deal getting the ball first in the 2nd half if you're down 35-0. Terrible coaching before the game even begins.
  3. The Tigers may not finish in last place. K.C. ends the season with a 6 game series in Cleveland. Meaningless games for both teams.
  4. Out SP hasn't been the problem. We have very good depth there. We just can't have a historically bad offense again. That's the entire reason we're so far out of everything. I hope Burnhart isn't signed for next year.
  5. Yeah, this is a home game the Lions should win, bigly.
  6. Their offense was....offensive all season long...pitching was good enough to finish much closer to .500.
  7. Only need to go 2-7 to avoid 100 losses? They can do it.
  8. He's the Don Cherry of baseball..lol
  9. He was basically out in the Vikings game. Did he even have 10 touches?
  10. And you were worried about Jefferson...for good reason. But the Lions drafted Okudah and Swift with Hurts still on the board. You just never know what guys will do at the next level.
  11. We've gone from "how bad they'll lose" to they "should win this one" in one year. Who are you people and what have you done with MTS regulars? 🤣🤣
  12. Didn't work. We were losing yards on conservative run plays anyway. Campbell already took responsibility for bone headed play calling at the end, trying to run the clock out with a lead. We needed ONE more first down to seal the game.
  13. Dan Campbell's streak continues. He's never won a road game as our coach. I would bet he wins at least one this season. If he stops choking.
  14. Going for it on 4th down at midfield was also very, very stupid. Coaches have been fired for less. Of course, it led to a Viking TD.
  15. The Lions are in last place. Sound familiar?
  16. There's a really good reason teams don't go forward on 4th down from midfield. You play with fire and you'll get burned
  17. Watch out for Green Bay. Is Rodgers good enough to pass the ball and then run down the field and catch it? All of his receivers are hurt.
  18. I agree we may win. The biggest difference I see is where the game is being played. The Lions on the road against a team that beat Green Bay in Minnesota. Not gonna be as easy as some people think. It's really hard to win on the road in the NFL.
  19. The level of Lions support amazes and delights me. However, this is their 1st road game. And the Vikings are a much better team at home. Vikings. 38 Lions 31
  20. Didn't they show a stat last night about a very good Philly receiver who had zero catches against Detroit? Devonta Smith?
  21. Exactly. Putting players in the best position for success. Building confidence and having their backs is the sign of a good coach. It's been awhile since we've had that. Wayne Fontès?
  22. Nice little comeback by him. Schoop with a very good play.
  23. It's been over for 1/2 an hour here.
