  1. Jackson Jobe says Hi There...😆😆
  2. People on Twitter forming opinions on Tigers batting averages over a 7 game playoff stretch don't understand why small sample sizes aren't reliable. Yes, they were playoff games but any list showing Tork is better than Riley is obviously flawed. (Rant over)
  3. A small account? I've seen bigger accounts messed with but I figured they didn't care about smaller accounts because not as many people see them or retweet their posts.
  4. You have to trade quality to get quality. If I could get a quality SP and a quality RH 1st base or 3rd base bat, I may do it. Would Harris? I don't think so, he hasn't made any big deals. But like I said, I wouldn't be surprised, not that I would like it.
  5. Might as well sign Burnes too. 🤣 I can't even imagine the money these guys will be asking. I just don't see the Tigers spending money for either player....
  6. Maybe to improve the team? And Riley actually just had a mostly injury free season. Trading him now would be selling high. I don't thing Harris will, and I don't like the idea of it, but I just wouldn't be surprised. We have way too many LH bats. Not only that, but we have some young guys who are highly thought of who have to find a spot on the team. (Hello, Max Clark, another LH bat)
  7. He wants free speech for MAGA liars and conspiracy theorists. But when people post true facts, actual scientific facts, he wants to quiet them. There's an actual sitting Congresswoman who insists the democrats control the weather. And she's totally serious. The education system in this country has failed several generations.
  8. My ex-father-in-law was a huge racist. So bad that when I took my MIL out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant, she asked me what she should order. She had never been to a Mexican restaurant. And my FIL considered himself a foodie. To be honest, I never considered how much a racist would avoid people they hate, for NO reason. Racism is a sign of a poorly educated person, perfect MAGA people.
  9. We can be happy with the season but disappointed with today's game. And yes, our needs are apparent; Next season starting pitchers; Skubal, Olson, Jobe, Montero, Maeda. We need another quality SP. And we need a closer and a RH power bat. And no bargain bin players, we need quality.
  10. How about moving Keith to 1st base where his lack of range won't hurt us and find a power RH bat for 2nd base? It really wouldn't surprise me if they traded Riley. I prolly wouldn't like it, depending on the return, but it wouldn't surprise me.
  11. At least we can thank the government for not making it rain today in Cleveland. 🤣🤣🤣
  12. A couple of quality starting pitchers, a closer and a 1st base bat. Tork hitting a home run every 3 weeks isn't good enough.
  13. Chip. Away. But against the back end of the Cleveland bullpen? Not likely.
  14. It's all good. What were your predictions for the Tigers this season? Losing in a 5th game ALDS game was a total overachievement.
  15. And what a fun and exciting season it was!!
  16. So....anybody read any good books lately?
  17. Cleveland's best hope is to make Skubal throw a lot of pitches and get to the Tigers middle relief.
  18. Just because Chris signed Javy 3 years ago doesn't mean he's opened his checkbook.
  19. My fingernails are already bleeding. Please....let the Tigers get an early huge lead to make it less stressful.
  20. Exactly what I was thinking yesterday. Leave 'em guessing
  21. Yeah, the tapes degrade. I was bummed out when I went to convert my Morris no-hitter. The tape had the first 3 innings unwatchable. The rest of it was better but the quality on the YouTube version is better.
  22. I didn't want to be negative in my predictions but I agree that it's asking too much for Skubal to throw more scoreless innings. And Cleveland has seen our best BP arms. I'm at peace with the season ending....but I'll still be rooting them on.
  23. I agree that we should be happy, very happy, with how this season turned out. But in 1984, I was 24 years old. And most games were on TV, I had PASS, an early form of Fox Sports Detroit, or Bally's Sports. And we also had Ernie...1984 was my favorite Tigers season of all time.
  24. The Tigers actually played decent against the Yankees this year. When we played there, one of our losses was in a rainy mess. Just going by memory, we played them close there. And we split the 2 games here but won at that little league game. It's when we started our run, I think.
