That's just the thing, how can they rate the Comerica 2024 crowd? We haven't had a playoff home game yet. A very successful opening 4 games though, 3-1 so far in the playoffs, all on the road.

In all fairness, that crowd at Petco last night was going crazy. That really does look like an advantage.

Carp could probably learn 1st base but we would still need a RH bat to play there against LH pitchers. Unless we want to see Carpenter prove once and for all whether he can hit LH pitchers...

The fact is, even in super slow motion, it's nearly impossible to see if the ball even touched a blade of grass. It was called a catch in live action, no evidence could overturn that. The same as if it were called a trapped catch, it would have stood. That play was pretty incredible, so close many people are still seeing both sides of it. I say it was a catch, the ball hit his mitt and bounced into the pocket. But so close....

True, it directly cost them a game. That base runner was clearly out in every camera angle.

I'm not sure Tiger fans could have handled sweating out a 1 run lead. 😆 And you never know what may have happened.
