I wonder if something happened with him? Certainly doesn’t seem warranted based on performance.

I just want Hinch to start getting away from platooning a few of these guys as much as he tends to. I’m fine with platooning Meadows and Vierling or Javy and McKinstry. But you gotta let these top prospect types play in all situations and learn to elevate their games. Keith, McGonigle and Carpenter need to be playing every day and having at least a decent degree of consistency in defensive positioning.

I’d prefer to see Javy and Meadows platoon CF, Keith at 3B and McG at SS. Vierling the typical RF and Carpenter the typical DH. (Or rotate it and let Riley be the DH every few days) Then you can mix it up a bit and have McKinstry at 3B, Carpenter in RF and Keith DH against back of the rotation RHPs. With McGonigles skill set, you play him every day or why bother having him on the roster.

I still have faith that Roberto Campos will wake up one morning and become prime Miggy.

We should be planning to deal him at some point. There’s no way he ages well.
