    Realistically how long of a rehab is SGL going to need before we would feel like he is an option again? He has a lot of what we need with low walks/solid K numbers and multi-inning value.

    I feel like Malloy is safer just because he is among the leagues best at walk rate. Plus he is younger and is showing more improvement.

    I definitely feel like we could deal him for something rather than release him if we end up getting to that point. There are plenty of teams out there that could use the skill set that he has shown.

    Torkelson and Javy as RH bats producing a lot (along with Gleyber being added) is starting to make Ibanez a bit more expendable. McKinstry playing well and being more versatile isn’t helping him either.

    I’d rather just start Montero. Holton hasn’t been super effective lately…just save him so we don’t burn the pen up at the start of the series. We got a week until the next off day.

    I know we are going to have to DFA Nido when Jake comes back, but it’ll suck to lose him to a claim. He’s been nothing short of fantastic as the 3rd catcher in the org for us.
