  1. Other than a 13 at-bat stop at AA last season, Kurtz' ops has never been below 1.000. That includes this season. Dude is a stud Nick Kurtz College, Fall & Minor Leagues Statistics | Baseball-Reference.com https://share.google/BODDMh8TLFDNonwYF
  2. Last year it was. 02%. Just 2 weeks ago espn had Detroit's playoff odds at 99%. Tsunami to complete drought
  3. Better D today. There's that
  4. And they're only 6 back in the loss column
  5. Let that spark a fire!
  6. That was an incredible AB by Bichette. 13 pitches
  7. You're undervaluing the career of Christian Stewart.😉

  9. Holy cow, Nick Kurtz have an historic day! 6-6, 4 HR and 8 RBI
  10. As a prisoner of the moment, thoughts entering my mind: Given Detroit's regression, I'm thinking Harris does little at the deadline. And if the Tigers bow out early in the post season, I believe Harris will listen to offers on Skubal.
  11. I just watched "the opposite" episode on Seinfeld. Hoping this reverses the trend
  12. Looking at Parker's stats. He had an excellent 2nd half last year, otherwise he has been sub par. He is only 25. Still time. His career ops is .685. Jacoby Jones' career ops was .646. Meadows is an upgrade, but I won't be surprised if he falls into a 4th OF role, platoon only. Still time to get hot. But I'm beginning to be skeptical.
  13. I highly doubt it. Suarez has 35 home runs. I read today that 11 teams have inquired and we know the Yankees are highly interested. I don't see Harris giving up a top 100 plus more, which is what I believe it will take
  14. Is that from a Cher lyric?
  15. At least there has been no nail biting this month.
  16. 11-month ride to the top is quickly deflating.
  17. I bet there are some wagers being placed on the guardians to win the Central.
  18. Law's updated top 60. McGonigle 1, Clark 2, Briceno 22, Ranier 38. Top 60 MLB prospects: Kevin McGonigle, Max Clark top newest rankings - The Athletic https://share.google/vofFZPrxmz4CiQbYO
  19. His long swing sort of reminds me of Bellinger's, who is also extremely streaky.
  20. I agree. Their offense jumped from bottom quadrant to top quadrant and will likely settle more mid. Steve Phillips sort of called this. But hey, this is the time to slump. Get it back on course heading into the home stretch and post season.
  21. Harris is thinking long-term sustainability. He is very different than DD. I don't expect they'll jump into bidding wars.
  22. Time for Parker to heat up. In 35 games his ops+ is 54
  23. For bullpen sake Melton needs to go for a bit, and they are crushing him. 6-0 in the 3rd. Might be seeing Rogers on the mound today
  24. As bad as this has been, the Tigers are a now a half game up in the AL, and a half game back overall.
