    Yep, Boras has a higher spin rate than Dylan Cease. If Boras suggested an 8 year extension that would likely have closed the door for Harris. Huge long-term contracts for pitchers or most position players post 30 are a great risk. Pitchers post 30 are just stupid

    Yesterday the Tigers started 5 rookies and beat the As 11-0. It is bright. I'm starting to turn the page.

    The trades were ok. A sense of ushering in a new era, led by McGonigle, Clark,....? Even the 2024 team seems bygone now. Not building on that team. Keeping its spare parts and starting something new. Sort of like mtv on 8/1/'81. Video killed the radio star.

    Seeing all those young guys listed there does spark more hope. Prior to Greene, how many decent position player prospects did Detroit develop? Castellanos. Higgy. Fryman. Inge. Only a handful back to the late 70s early 80s

    In looking at fangraphs assessment of Detroit's haul from the trade I noticed they have Bryce Ranier at #25 overall.
