  2. Only one, I guess.
  3. That’s what you get when you serve up a fastball to Javy Baez. I wonder how many ballparks that triple would have donged?
  4. The American people are the intended audience here. All the American people, including the red hats.
  5. That’s the thing about this: people are going to have to pay some real consequences for this because if they don’t, they are going to eventually overthrow the whole kit and caboodle. It’s like they said earlier: if enough people internalize the idea that elections can’t be trusted, then the only thing that will settle elections is violence.
  6. Can’t be empathetic if you don’t see it, and the red hats aren’t seeing any of this.
  7. Akil Baddoo certainly has the tools and when he successfully flashes them, he’s a breathtaking talent. He’s going to have to learn to hit the ball as hard as he’s capable of on a more frequent basis if he’s going to be a starting outfielder for anything better than a second division team.
  8. If you can get Sue the moderator to drop two f-bombs in the same post, as Trump managed to do today, you know you’re a very bad person, indeed.
  9. Because that is obviously what people who are doing something that is totally legal and above-board would do.
  10. I expect there will be a tick-up in rentals for the movie The Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight.
  11. First of all, I think Adam Schiff is doing a great job questioning the witnesses. Straight, direct, lively, to the point. Secondly, if there is a Republican official I can become a fan of, Rusty Bowers of Arizona would be that guy. Also straight, direct, lively, and to the point.
  12. Not at all a cult.
  13. Doner worked with those guys a lot. The two voice actors had been on numerous Doner spots.
  14. I think Doner might have done this radio spot.
  15. I like it when McCosky is on with Dan, a hell of a lot better than when Craig Monroe is on with Dan.
  16. Because their base is aggressively ignorant and not only can they not do math, they can't do logic, either.
  17. Don’t say you weren’t warned …
  18. I assume that whatever announcement the Supreme Court makes about Dobbs is going to be timed to draw attention away from the most damning revelations about January 6th.
  19. Right, it was about Michael Cohen being a “rat”. When Cohen told us what was going on inside, everyone inside started referring to him as a “rat”, which really means Cohen was telling the truth, because otherwise they’d’ve been calling him a liar.
  20. We don’t normally think about it that way when it comes to police forces, but it is true that they are populated by people, and a certain percentage of people are cowardly bastards who are in it only to boss ordinary people around, intimidate cafe owners into giving them free meals, run any red light or stop sign they feel like, roll hookers and drug dealers for sex and money, and bang badge chasers.
  21. Or that they are empaneled by some sort of death committee or something.
  22. Meaning the Republicans? Yup. Totally. Honor for your service is conditional on your current state of loyalty.
  23. I wonder if the term “rat” is going to make a reappearance in all this? Remember that from a couple years ago? I can’t quite pick out what the circumstances were from the firehose of my Trump memories, but someone who was at least somewhat on the inside was singing about some unethical and/or potentially criminal thing that was going on within the administration and, for a couple days anyway, that someone was referred to as a “rat”. Even londsey Graham was on the pundit shows tossing accusations of “rat” around. Of course, if they do start slinging the word “rat” around to describe some of the people testifying, that’s basically an admission of guilt right there.
