This. For me, the ads are a distraction. I don’t enjoy that, but I get it. But the time that too many podcasts take warming up and being personal really annoys me. It’s almost as if they’re 1950s Science Fiction short story writers and they’re getting paid by the word. Just get to the point. -
Right now, the pitcher for tomorrow is TBD. Skubal and Jack, however, are listed for Tuesday and Wednesday games. The pitcher before Skubal last time was pitching chaos with Holton starting and Montero coming in.

My wife’s family moved here from Sweden, and their name was Anderson and apparently at Ellis Island it was thought there were too damn many Anderson‘s coming to America so they renamed the entire family Just. So it’s been a long line of people since 1870 with that name.

So, did the Blue Jays pitcher Fluharty get renamed when his ancestors landed at Ellis Island because they were too damn many Flaherty‘s coming to America?
