  1. Remember that game last week had high hopes. He’s due for a gem.
  2. I have no problem with the runner on second base to open extra innings. I had to watch Brandon Inge pitch in extra innings once and that cured me of the idea of long games.
  3. On the Tigers MLB page reporting on the doubleheader Jason Beck said the 12–3 start was the best home record in the 26 year history of Comerica Park and he said nothing about 1911.
  4. The Tigers lead the AL in wins with 17.
  5. What a satisfying day. Wow.
  6. Thanks. I think I remember that now. Being 125 years old, my memory does fail me at times…
  7. What’s the thing they’re talking about that happened for the first time since 1911?
  8. Pitching Change: Tommy Kahnle replaces Chase Lee. Thank you!!!😋
  9. Is Maeda warming up? Keeping in line with my usual standards I want a six run lead before they do this.
  10. The Tigers have now used 12 of their 13 position players obviously excluding Dingler because he caught earlier today. AJ really uses the entire squad.
  11. 2468 who do we appreciate McKinstry McKinstry rah rah rah
  12. Spencer Torkelson doubles (8) on a fly ball to left fielder Ramón Laureano. Trey Sweeney scores. Gleyber Torres scores.
  13. I really want us to win this game, but in all reality, if they can only score 3 runs on average against what is considered one of the worst pitching staffs in baseball the Tigers don’t actually “deserve” to win this game.
  14. Don’t give back the lead Keider
  15. Riley Greene homers (4) on a fly ball to right field. Jace Jung scores. Gleyber Torres scores.
  16. They didn’t kill Zach when they hit his hand with the ball did they?
  17. Nice nine pitch clean first inning by Montero
  18. I noticed the Tigers have a .615 winning PCT. compared to the mighty Red Sox at .500. Detroit also boasts a run differential of +34 compared to Boston’s -5, and the Tigers are averaging 4.46 runs per game, barely less than the Red Sox 4.57. When I think of all the attention in the Red Sox get, the Tigers are doing comparatively pretty good.
