I missed almost all of this because I chose instead to watch S-2 E-2 of The Last of Us on HBO with my son but I don’t feel bad. Together we played through the two games and it took 40 to 45 hours. It was a huge bonding experience. Now that I’m fully focused I sure hope we can keep this game in tow.

Our next shot at the Tigers being the MLB TV game of the day is next Sunday against the Orioles.

Saw this was the free MLB TV game of the day so I’m glad I was doing other stuff rather than watching them lose. Instead, I momentarily every now and then listened to them lose.

I thought hitting was down in MLB…

It just seemed we had to have a game like this with the Royals.

Dead feed for me on the Tigers radio app but the KC one is working. I wonder if this is an MLB problem or a problem on the Tigers end… DUH I just realized that the Tigers pregame show isn’t as long as the KC one and the game doesn’t start for another 34 minutes.

Good lineup today I love it when a plan comes together.

A four game sweep in April could make a big difference at the end of September. I like the idea of pedal to the metal.

Thank you both @chasfh and @Tiger337 These are kind of insights I was looking for. Ten days in a row +3 more, that’s a lot of days to get sore, to get worn out, to sprain an ankle to pull an oblique. I can see how it would seem like a grind. The good thing is that all of this is happening within a 10 game homestand with one off day sandwiched in between it all and that might tilt thing in the Tigers direction.

Is there a chance AJ might not field the “A Team” tomorrow because they will be playing their 10th game in 10 days with three against San Diego starting Monday? Maybe hoping the pitching will stymie KC and the Tigers can scratch out a couple runs to win? But with only 13 position players there’s not a whole heck of a lot of shuffling he can do.

Yeah, I looked it up. He’s actually pretty good. I thought it was Dan and Dan was just talking fast and then Bobby called him Greg and I had to do a double take.

We have one of the best pitchers in baseball going up against KC on Sunday, but four-game sweeps don’t happen that often and the Impersonal God of Mathematical Probability might have something to say about tomorrow’s outcome. But I hope not.
