In our guys defense Pivetta is dealing pretty well.

It’s a shame to waste what is right now a pretty good start by Flaherty by not scoring any runs, which is a statement of the obvious, but heck score some runs dummies.

When I was watching that on FS1 last night, he had lots of good things to say about the Tigers, but he still said he thought Cleveland was the favorite.

Are any of these big six franchises or Atlanta or Philadelphia known for having pitcher friendly parks? Does being at Comerica help Skubal enough that he would want to stay here? I’m curious about that instead of the influence of Boras on his decisions.

Cleveland is breathing down our neck like a high school boy with beer on his breath and a pocket full of condoms. I don’t like it. They have even allowed more runs than they’ve scored and still have a 13–9 record.

This team feels different because its achievements have been earned instead of bought — compared to other versions of this team. And disparaging the previous versions of this team when it was playing at a high level as being “bought“ isn’t truly fair but still that’s what it feels like. We expected those previous teams to win. Until August last year, no one expected this team to win and when it’s still winning now, it feels really special.
