  8. Golf one Riley it’s all you can do!
  9. They just can’t seem to keep the line going anymore. Sustaining the momentum just isn’t happening.
  10. Kerry Carpenter doubles (1) on a ground ball to second baseman Brayan Rocchio, deflected by first baseman C.J. Kayfus. Parker Meadows scores. Gleyber Torres to 3rd.
  11. Cleveland is wearing real home uniforms this time instead of those Cal Ripken league jersey things. They look like a real baseball team. I’m worried.
  12. Stop with all the Bregman stuff. She’s the cheerleader who wouldn’t date us in high school. It’s over.
  13. It’s on ABC instead of ESPN so it doesn’t conflict with the Cubs game.
  14. I’m glad I’m not the only one.
  15. Whoa, I had no idea that the Tigers’ punishment for backing into the wild card was that all three games would be played in Cleveland. This third game does not even return to Detroit? I guess this shows how little I actually know about postseason wildcard play because being in the postseason is a distant memory when it comes to the Detroit Tigers. Honestly, baseball doesn’t exist for me unless my team is playing. It’s hard for me to care about watching a game I don’t personally have a stake in.
  16. I’m honestly not holding my breath for them to do something good, but it seems that they can’t falter forever. Just winning one more game would leave a more pleasant taste in my mouth, than ending the season on so ignominious a note, at home no less.
  17. Good to put game #2 behind us quickly @Biff Mayhem thank you. Good call! 💗
  18. This is so disappointing. I don’t know if this team has merely peaked and been figured out and are unable to make adjustments or not. Torkelson made adjustments last year. Can the rest of them who still remain do that? Last year‘s run and the first part of this season for a goodly amount of time seemed too good to be true and I guess it was. Maybe rolling the dice on the odds and riding a wave of team spirit or whatever doesn’t have a lasting shelf life. They no longer look like the same ball club we got used to.
  19. Yes. It doesn’t matter who you send up there. At least they won’t be suffering a walk off 10th inning loss.
