  1. Six in a box well well well.
  2. I missed almost all the excitement because one of my best friends called to commiserate with me about having Covid once again, expressing his concern and celebrating the fact that I’m not dead yet. Glad it happened though. The run scoring that is not the dead part.
  3. Kerry Carpenter doubles (17) on a sharp line drive to right fielder Cam Smith. Colt Keith scores. Gleyber Torres scores. Kerry Carpenter to 3rd.
  4. Glad we got a run.
  5. Bases loaded no outs no runs. I thought for sure. Dingler had hit a two run homer. Heck
  6. Tork and Wenceel are OBP MACHINES!
  7. When the ball is hit to centerfield and Javy out there, I always feel confident. Perhaps I shouldn’t but I basically do. And he seems so nonchalant about it without being a jerk.
  8. Why does Riley always think he’s golfing?
  9. Don’t strike out too Riley!
  10. Keith is getting on base a lot.
  11. So I’m here. Just tested positive for Covid for the fourth or is it the fifth time? I honestly thought it was just a cold or the flu this time but yep, I’ve got it again. Jack don’t you dare blow this first inning. Get out of it for me do it for the kids.
  12. Jeez Flaherty has lost 12 games? I suppose that giving up runs early and the Tigers not scoring when he’s pitching is a part of that but still that’s a lot of losses.
  13. Weather looks good, which is something I forgot could happen.
  14. Well, this is a series where the rubber really meets the road. It’s actually sort of pivotal. The Astros are definitely a team that can be beaten. They are 7–8 in August. They have both won and lost a series to Boston in August. They are coming off of losing a series to Baltimore at home. They also won a series against the Yankees on the road. The Astros starter last pitched five innings and allowed one hit 2ER 5BB struck out three. After they pulled him the Astros pen allowed 12 runs against the Red Sox. In his two previous games he was hit hard by Miami and the Twins. In the Tigers philosophy of winning one game at a time this is the one game they really need to win.
  15. Whoever made that statement didn’t do their homework, they just assumed that the Tigers basically played their own division early in the season, which is simply not true. They swept the Red Sox when they still had Bregman. They won series from the Padres the Yankees and the Blue Jays, St Louis, the Cubs and the Giants. Lazy banter by a lazy poser who only understands the mystique of big money, big names, big reputations, and aiming their sophistries at the rabble.
  16. Bailey Horn Was able to do what Paddack couldn’t do.
  17. So the last two Twins relievers have each struck out the side. It’s almost as if the Tigers want to get on the plane and leave as quickly as possible.
  18. Set the way back machine for earlier in the week Sherman.
  19. This is really disgusting.
  20. And here I thought having a Texas attitude solved every problem.
  21. The Twins really have Chris Paddack figured out
  22. Kerry Carpenter singles on a sharp line drive to right fielder Matt Wallner. Colt Keith scores.
  23. Whatever happened to the Jake Rogers that hit 21 home runs in a little over 100 games?
