We have scored the third most runs in the AL and allowed the fewest runs in the AL. This seems like a pretty good recipe for success.

We know this team pretty well, so we are aware of its imperfections and fret about them — every astute and highly focused fan base is like this — but we’ve got a decent record, we somehow manage to score runs pretty frequently, prevent enough being scored against us, and are not a team to be taken lightly. Yes we have stars, but we get more out of our entire 26-man roster than other teams do. This didn’t just happen it was done on purpose.

I’ve kind of thought that was the case but it just seems strange. I guess because all the teams cheat like this it’s considered OK.
