  1. An important part of Idaho the panhandle the slender area that extends up to the Canadian border and has some significant population is economically tied in to the state of Washington and is even on Pacific time because of that instead of mountain time so it makes sense but Alaska? I guess if Canada becomes “the 51st state” the entirety of western Canada up to and including Alaska will be in the Mariners viewing area.
  2. I can never watch these games the Tigers play against the Mariners because they are blacked out for me because I’m in their viewing area and I don’t have cable and I’m not willing to give Root sports $19.99 a month without Cable to watch the Tigers play the Mariners six times a year. The Mariners viewing era area is very huge and includes Washington, Oregon, Montana, Alaska and much of of Idaho except the eastern part of the state that falls within the Rockies viewing area.
  3. I’m glad I didn’t make the idiot observation about “saving some runs for this game“ because we scored so many in the last. Even Colt Keith is getting into it.
  4. I started watching or rather re-watching the Godfather part two last night got halfway through and of course, since today is April 1, Paramount, which is where I was watching it has decided to switch it over to its Pluto TV with ads or Amazon will let you buy it for $16.99. this is happening all the time now movies that have been streaming on a streaming service forever often aren’t even going to one of these ad driven platforms, but you have to buy them or rent them.
  5. All the Bourne movies premiered in Boise, Idaho, where I live because the producer’s wife is from Boise and was active in local theater for years before she married him. So they all premier here with all proceeds being a fundraiser for local theater. For the fourth Bourne movie, which sucked, my son who was quite young and short at the time, ducked under a barricade and ran up to get a selfie with Matt Damon and Damon‘s people tried to stop him, but Damon was wonderful and let Mason take the picture with him. I think the Ultimatum is one of the most exciting movies I’ve ever seen. I didn’t see the premiere at the local Egyptian theater, but I did see the film that week during its premier and I gasped so many times.
  6. I forgot it was April 1. I just thought this was the day my rent was due.
  7. It’s too bad we have to get quite deeply into the season before we get Torkelson into that Sutter Health Park.
  8. 3-D printed oars made out of some sort of sci-fi composite would be good.
  9. Where’s my 10 runs?
  10. I like this new and improved version of Torkelson. He “looks like a baseball player“ and not in some clichéd sort of way.
  11. Blank the Dodgers. Let’s play the Mariners all day every day.
  12. On the eighth day, God invented baseball, but not for the Detroit Tigers today.
  13. I don’t know if having Meadows or Verling in the lineup would make much difference at least against the Dodgers.
  14. Riley Greene doubles (1) on a sharp line drive to right fielder Teoscar Hernández. Manuel Margot scores. Riley Greene to 3rd.
  15. Maybe AJ should go all Woody Hayes on the team and hit people with chairs.
  16. What a disappointing inning to load the bases and get nothing.
  17. I just turned the TV back on and both the TV audio and the radio audio are three or four pitches behind. This is the worst service I have ever seen.
  18. Math is elitist. It’s an insult to the common man.
  19. If my math is correct, it’s gonna take more than two runs to win this game.
  20. I’m glad that no hitter is off the table. I don’t like the stress I don’t like a guy going 110 or 120 pitches to achieve it.
  21. Tork didn’t swing at a single pitch in that at bat and was called out on strikes.
