Thank God Miggy could handle that grounder on his own to end of the inning and he didn’t have to go through Willi Castro.

We had a 6.5 last year and it was totally weird. Standing on solid ground and you could feel a wave go through you as if you were standing in the ocean. We had a 4.0 yesterday but I never noticed it. We’ve had numerous aftershocks since that 6.5 last year and I’ve only noticed one of them.

I really wanted this game to start on time. I am in mourning I need the Tigers to take my mind off it. Filippo Ganna beat my favorite cyclist Wout van Aert in the UCI Road World Championships in Belgium yesterday. The two of them outpaced the third place finisher by 40 +seconds. It was a really thrilling race.

Just checking the weather app on my phone and precipitation is possible today and it’s possible for the next three days off and on.

The thing about playing the teams in your own division is that by this time in the season you’re like married couples who know each other‘s moves. Hopefully this team has improved enough to have figured out the White Sox’s moves. Right now I would be pretty happy with a split of the remaining games against this team.

I did not have the opportunity to follow this game, but I am utterly flabbergasted. AJ and crew have somehow figured out how to squeeze the blood out of the turnip that this team is. This is not just happenstance. It also transcends “luck.“

I can’t get too worried about all this now. This entire season has been gravy. And aside from that early stretch of awful, the team has somehow risen to the occasion.
