  1. Scoob made Rooker - his nemesis if there is one - look silly on that strike out.
  2. After Stephen King, the name Langeliers makes me cringe.
  3. Then Torkelson gets a ball call on a strike. It might be a long night.
  4. Riley strikes out on a called strike that is not really a strike
  5. Torres walks Carp singles
  6. They are playing in a minor-league ballpark “down by the river” according to Jason.
  7. I’m having the same problem with the voices syncing with the lips on the Athletics MLB TV feed as well. I think this is an MLB TV issue. It’s not exclusive to FanDuel. The ads however are fine.
  8. When I tuned in the FanDuel audio was horrible and fluttering now it’s audible, but not synced with the picture.
  9. I checked the Yankee game for a second on TV and the rich people seats behind home plate are sparsely attended there too.
  10. Cleveland down 9-0 in the 9th.
  11. I dislike these late games so much I might not even follow this game closely if it weren’t for Skubal and my hopes that our offense could have a field day at Sutter Health Park.
  12. When I was in France, many years ago, everybody was thin, good looking, and the food was great. Even the countryside seemed sculptured with intent. I really liked it.
  13. I know for those of you in the eastern time zone these West Coast games begin at 10 PM. So my complaints are kind of minimal in your eyes.
  14. I don’t like West Coast night games. Eastern time zone games for me begin around 5 PM which is just wonderful, while a game on the West Coast that begins at 8 PM for me is inconvenient.
  15. The use of all caps is beautiful.
  16. When you follow every game as closely as some of us do, the alternating swings between elation and despair are pretty intense. I’m all for the elation part but the despair not so much. Stuff like this happens and sometimes it just best to move on to the next series. Would’ve could’ve should’ve. If any lessons have been learned the right people have learned them.
  17. We got Jack off but to no avail.
  18. At least Torkelson got a meaningless HR. Eight runs should usually be enough to win. Oh well.
  19. Giving up again… keep trying boys.
  20. I keep giving up on this team. And then they come up with another Moses-like miracle.
  21. It’s always good to get Jack off.
  22. Zach McKinstry singles on a line drive to left fielder Adam Frazier, deflected by third baseman Maikel Garcia. Dillon Dingler scores. Now, 7-6!
  23. Dillon Dingler doubles (17) on a sharp line drive to left fielder Adam Frazier. Riley Greene scores.
  24. Wenceel Pérez homers (11) on a fly ball to right center field.
  25. Jahmai Jones doubles (8) on a sharp line drive to center fielder Kyle Isbel. Riley Greene scores. Dillon Dingler scores. Zach McKinstry scores.
