With Ovechkin hitting 900 goals, I took a look at the all-time stats.  It's wild to me that not only is he still more than 1,200 points behind Gretzky, he's not even in the Top 10 for career points.

As a Canadian, it will be interesting to see who is our Olympic goalie. Binnington will probably start the opening game, but surely Logan Thompson will at least make the roster this year. If not, he must have done something we don't know about to tick off Team Canada brass.

In my mind, not really.  He's older, more expensive, has a longer contract and Jarry has been really bad in the playoffs.  Giving up Kulak to do this also is odd to me because Alec Regula is now projected to play on their second pairing haha.  But I guess if you think mixing it up by removing Skinner and adding Jarry is the only way to try something I guess you can see SOME logic.  It's just bad logic.  

Jarry passed through waivers last season so it isn't like he's some sought after commodity

John Leonard with his 1st goal for Detroit.  Has scored one goal each in 4 different seasons with 4 different teams. Can he match or exceed his career high of 3 goals in a season, with the Sharks in 2021.

Maybe I'm just a hater but I feel like people like Jarmo for no reason.  Bergevin stinks and I don't think Jarmo's tenure in Columbus was that impressive so I don't imagine this new Buffalo direction is going to go well, but what do I know.

its the nhl.  guys just get recycled over and over again.

bergevin seems uniquely bad.  he was terrible as montreal's gm.  i think the only good players he ver drafted were cole caufield and mikael sergachev...and he traded sergachev for jonathan freaking drouin.

Ha, I noticed that and tried to fix it. 
Am at Preds and Knights at a matinee game in Vegas. Canadian Olympians Marner and Stone in the Knights lineup. Stamkos scored his 600th career goal. Have you seen a sports arena or stadium with this much leg room?
