My personal situation, because I’m retired, is that I have time on my hands during the day so it bugs me when these spring games begin as “night games.“ i’ve got plenty of other choices of things to do - not unlimited still other things - but the path of least resistance is to just idly follow a game like a bump on a log.

Don't mind the night games. I have more of a puritanical guilt thing about watching/listening to a ball game during a week day instead of in the evening even if it's perfectly true I wouldn't have accomplished anything in particular that day.....🤷‍♂️

Although in a game like this, a tie or a loss seem the same, a tie right now feels like a victory, even though it’s meaningless. There were a lot of contributions from various players that give us reason for optimism.
