Chicken, meet egg. 🤔 Edited September 29 by gehringer_2 Quote
Deleterious Posted September 29 Author Posted September 29 Link to media day press conference. No clue who is speaking or when. It is currently just an empty mic. Quote
Deleterious Posted September 29 Author Posted September 29 Cade said he has talked to Melo a bit about working out with him. They scheduled a few, but it ended up not working out but he looks forward to doing that. Career over. 2 Quote
Deleterious Posted September 29 Author Posted September 29 Sheed: "OK Jalen. We are going to work on defending inbound plays. I brought Robert Horry out to help me with this." 1 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted September 29 Author Posted September 29 Probably the most important news of training camp. 1 Quote

casimir Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Anyone else wondering what Sekou Doumbouya is up to? Quote

Deleterious Posted September 30 Author Posted September 30 Wikipedia says Sekou is playing in the Lebanese Basketball League. Hayes was just invited to Cleveland's camp. Quote
Deleterious Posted October 1 Author Posted October 1 Journalists have targeted Ausar for all of their preseason puff pieces, it appears. Quote

I've seen a couple of "Jalen Duren working on his jump shot" vids on various social media sites...season is just around the corner Quote
Betrayer Posted October 3 Posted October 3 1 hour ago, Deleterious said: Even Jalen is participating in the hype. Trying to decide which I like less, him shooting more jumpers or him doing that messy Drummond dribble-drive thing he likes to do. If his defensive numbers weren't trash when Ausar wasn't on the court, now that would be something. 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted October 4 Author Posted October 4 The first preseason game is Monday night against Memphis. Looks like it will be on FanDuel. 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted October 5 Author Posted October 5 1. Cade being top 5 in MVP - If enough guys get disqualified for not playing enough, sure. But I don't think he is a top 5 player outright. At least not yet. 2. Ausar finishes top 2 in steals for the entire league - I can easily see that happening. 3. Ausar finishes top 3 in MIP voting and gets some DPOY votes - See #2 answer 4. Robinson hits 300 3 pointers - They mention he hit 270 one year. But he also shot 44% from three that year. A number he hasn't come close to replicating. I would probably lean no on this one. 5. Holland shoots 33% from three - A 10 point bump is pretty crazy, so I would bet no on this one. But would love to see it. 6. Ivey averages 20 PPG - I would be shocked if he doesn't. 7. Duren averages 3 APG - He averaged 2.7 last year, so 3 isn't a crazy number. He has the highest TO% on the team though. Try cutting that down a bit. Quote
Deleterious Posted October 6 Author Posted October 6 ESPN wrote a trade guide article and listed 14 teams. Detroit was not one of the 14 and was not mentioned in any possible trades from those 14. The only mention of Detroit was the fact we have a trade exception to use. Quote
Deleterious Posted October 6 Author Posted October 6 Looks like only Colby Jones is on the Pistons injury report tonight. I can't imagine the starters playing more than 10–15 minutes, though. Quote
Deleterious Posted October 7 Author Posted October 7 Giving up 42 in the first quarter probably wasn't expected. Quote
Deleterious Posted October 7 Author Posted October 7 They start the second with Ron, Ausar, and Stew on the floor and they immediately start disrupting things. 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted October 7 Author Posted October 7 LeVert just received his first lesson of the season. Keep your hands up and ready when Cade is driving. He was expecting Cade to shoot and caught one on the nose. Quote
Deleterious Posted October 7 Author Posted October 7 WTF. After a timeout the pistons only had 4 on the court. Refs were letting it go until Robinson tried to run onto the court. Quote
Deleterious Posted October 7 Author Posted October 7 Pistons end the half up 74-64. They were behind by about 20 at one point, but really turned up the defensive effort. Cade has 20/4/3 in 19 minutes. I have to imagine he is done for the night. Quote
