HugoD Posted July 13 Posted July 13 I will say though that - at least on my phone - strike zone looks pinched a bit. Is Jack missing by much? Quote
lordstanley Posted July 13 Posted July 13 (edited) 1-2-3 inning for Jack. A few times recently he has settled in after a rocky 1st inning. But he has already thrown 3 innings worth of pitches (44). Edited July 13 by lordstanley Quote
motownblues Posted July 13 Posted July 13 All these walks Torkelson is drawing bodes well for the future. Quote
chasfh Posted July 13 Posted July 13 Does anyone cost us more runs on the basepaths than Gleyber Torres? Nope. Quote
chasfh Posted July 13 Posted July 13 Second homer off Flaherty this game. At this rate, he is definitely picking up his player option. Quote
lordstanley Posted July 13 Posted July 13 Tigers don’t score in a 3-hit inning and suddenly the game is tied. Quote

Sports_Freak Posted July 13 Posted July 13 The Tigers broadcasts have really turned moronic. Fans don't watch to hear these idiots ramble on, we just wanna watch baseball. Quote
lordstanley Posted July 13 Posted July 13 Meadows and Greene did Flaherty no favors, but Flaherty struck out Julio to keep the game tied heading to the bottom of the 5th. Quote
IdahoBert Posted July 13 Posted July 13 I don’t know if Flaherty got the handshake or not, but it sure would be nice if these guys could score some runs. 1 Quote
IdahoBert Posted July 13 Posted July 13 I’ve missed all this game so far because I started re-watching Homicide Life on the Street with my son who is 50 years younger than me and has never seen it before. He is a big Andre Braugher fan but only knows him from Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Someone has to speak for the Jenny Goodes of this world. GO TIGERS! Quote
IdahoBert Posted July 13 Posted July 13 I hate to say it, but Vierling and Meadows are the two black holes at the bottom of the order which last year were four holes so I guess in relation to last year it’s not as bad as it could be, but I was expecting more from these guys. Quote

I think we still have to give it some more time. Neither played any spring training and now trying to get ramped up against guys in midseason form. Both just needs at bats in my opinion but may need to see them pinch hit for late in games. Quote

You’re probably right. I hope you are right. Quote
