Just to be safe because it’s so often an issue I checked all the driveway cams I could find in Philadelphia and I can safely say it’s not raining.

Just as a note of interest, the Chicago White Sox are 10–4 since the All-Star break, winning series against the Pirates, Tampa Bay, Philadelphia, and the Angels.

I sure hope this little league game is over by 7:10. It's only the top of the 6th inning. Not sure how many innings these kids play.

I have low expectations for this game. So if Morton can give 5-6 innings with, say, 2 runs then that might be a satisfactory outcome win or lose, because it would indicate he might make a real contribution the rest of the way.

The way Sanchez is dealing, a Riley K seemed A forgone conclusion. Hoping Morton does Ok, but can’t see a path to a win tonight.

as I type this, Morton gives up 2 hits. Yikes
