Cruzer1 Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Grand Rapids Griffins | Michael Brandsegg-Nygard Assigned to Griffins Quote
slothfacekilla Posted October 27 Author Posted October 27 I felt like MBN was playing okay, but definitely making some mistakes and not playing with the same confidence he started the season with. I am not too shocked he got sent down. Quote

Cruzer1 Posted October 27 Posted October 27 MBN had to go down before his 10th game, and they would have lost a year of his contract. I think Bergrenn gets the first opportunity, he's playing well since he got a chance. Kane had his own spot on the 2nd line. Quote
slothfacekilla Posted October 29 Author Posted October 29 Danielson scores, hope they call him up soon Quote
slothfacekilla Posted October 29 Author Posted October 29 It gets really interesting if Postava is a real prospect for them. Only 23! Quote
slothfacekilla Posted October 31 Author Posted October 31 I guess there are worse things in the world than making a million bucks to play hockey in San Diego. Quote

buddha Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Lombardi should be in line for a spot in detroit. what else does he need to do? i guess if he's going to be a center he'll need some defensive chops tjat he might not have yet, but offensivley he looks ready. he could be a prime trade candidate to shore up the blue line. 1 Quote
Shinzaki Posted November 10 Posted November 10 At GR..both Cossa and Postava are injured. No idea on how severe either injury is 2 Quote
slothfacekilla Posted November 12 Author Posted November 12 Grand Rapids is notoriously tight lipped on injuries but it sounds like Cossa is day to day (not playing tonight) and Postava is going to be out "longer". Quote
slothfacekilla Posted November 12 Author Posted November 12 Can't edit my post but the Griffins released the goalie they signed to a PTO to backup yesterday (OT win with Lombardi scoring the winner) so that's a positive sign that Cossa will dress Friday. Gylander now has half as many points as Holl in two games played! Quote
