Still, a Tigers loss and rivals gaining and a clear MRI is a better day than a Tigers win and the IL.

There were some genuine high points in this game and some really bad luck on hard hit balls that easily found a glove and could’ve really amounted into something if they hadn’t. The relief work was pretty sterling until the very end. If a few bounces had been different, the whole game would’ve been different. So it goes.
