Release the pressure and give them a fresh start for the new season on Tuesday. Overkill?! They just made the playoffs today! Who doesn’t celebrate that with champagne? Come on! 1 Quote

IdahoBert Posted September 27 Posted September 27 I’m glad the Tigers won. I’m glad the Red Sox made it easy for them. I’m glad they didn’t get bumped from the playoffs after they were a sure thing for so long of even getting a bye. I’m not in a celebratory mood though. it never should’ve been a but by the skin of your teeth nailbiter on the next to the last day of the season. 1 Quote

It’ll be Paddack for at least 80 or 90 pitches, regardless of how many runs he gives up; then Rainey and Seward (or Seward and Rainey). And if that’s not enough to get us eight full innings—or hopefully, nine—then Kahnle to mop up. The MLB at bat app is showing Skubal against TBD. 😅😅 Quote

Well - playing - go for the division. Texas will win tonight and then Guardians fans will be complaining on how their team choked down the stretch and let the Tigers catch them. Please start Cobb tomorrow. Just to say he made it. Quote

Hongbit Posted September 27 Posted September 27 So if Cleveland loses tonight, the decision is start Skubal tomorrow and hope to win division and host a 3 game series but he would then only pitch game 3 on short rest and may not even get a chance at all. Option two is pitch whoever and start Skubal on extra rest in Game 1 even if it’s on the road. This is not even a choice. There’s only one move . 2 Quote
