slothfacekilla Posted October 30 Author Posted October 30 Auston Watson called up, probably for press box duties Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted October 30 Posted October 30 If Mazur hadn't gotten hurt would he have been the one called up? Quote

I think Watson will just sit in the press box in case someone gets hurt on the roadtrip. I think if they planned on the callup being in the lineup it would have been Danielson instead of Watson (or Mazur if he wasn't hurt). Quote
lordstanley Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Scoreless 1st period at the LA Kings. These 10:30pm starts are harsh when I’m spending the week in Ontario. Quote
lordstanley Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Ugh, shorthanded goal and the Kings open the scoring. Quote
lordstanley Posted October 31 Posted October 31 (edited) But DeBrincat promptly ties it on the same powerplay Edited October 31 by lordstanley Quote
lordstanley Posted October 31 Posted October 31 (edited) Wings lead! Kasper deflects an ASP shot. But wait…goal being challenged by the Kings. Call stands! Edited October 31 by lordstanley Quote
lordstanley Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Wings looking pretty solid protecting the 2-1 lead, 5 1/2 minutes to go in the 3rd. Quote
lordstanley Posted October 31 Posted October 31 (edited) Appleton! Nice pass to Kasper. 3-1 Wings. Edited October 31 by lordstanley Quote
lordstanley Posted October 31 Posted October 31 (edited) I literally step up away for 2 minutes, geesh. 2 Kings goals in 40 seconds late in regulation and it’s 3-3. Edited October 31 by lordstanley Quote
lordstanley Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Wings were in control but blew the lead and now it’s overtime. Quote
lordstanley Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Now the Wings have to kill a penalty with 2:02 in overtime if they hope to get this to the shootout. Quote
lordstanley Posted October 31 Posted October 31 (edited) Wings played a really good road game …for 57 minutes. Lose in OT. Wait…play is under review. No goal!! Edited October 31 by lordstanley Quote
GalagaGuy Posted October 31 Posted October 31 (edited) What a stupid way to lose win a game. Edited October 31 by GalagaGuy 1 Quote
gehringer_2 Posted October 31 Posted October 31 (edited) before the penalty that was as poorly as I think I've ever seen the Wings play in a 3 on 3 in the Larkin era. Total lack of coordination. Edited October 31 by gehringer_2 Quote
lordstanley Posted October 31 Posted October 31 (edited) After all of that …Wings win! Edited October 31 by lordstanley Quote
gehringer_2 Posted October 31 Posted October 31 bizarro. the refs giveth and the refs taketh away - or maybe that should be vice versa. They swallowed the whistle a couple of times in the 3rd that could/should have put the Wings on the power play. Quote

GalagaGuy Posted October 31 Posted October 31 I shut off my stream in disgust after the goal in OT. Came here, made a post and then saw the comment about the goal being reviewed. Fired up 97.1 on the Audacy app on my phone just in time to hear the final save in the shootout. What a wild ride. Quote
Cruzer1 Posted October 31 Posted October 31 I like the defensive pairs of Seider-Edvinsson and ASP-Chairot because they are more balanced. ASP played well tonight, but his -8 is still bad. Quote

I hate to admit this, but I closed my browser window whe they scored I was so pissed. I am shocked to see this! Edited October 31 by sagnam Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted October 31 Posted October 31 The Ref screwed the Kings last night. That Kasper goal should not have counted, the stick was high. And I don't think the Kings player really interfered with the goalie in OT. Scripted. 1 Quote
